Who can become a member?
An application to become a member of the MFIA can be made by any person, or entity, which has an interest or involvement in the forest industry in Marlborough. The broad membership of the Association is to ensure wide representation from forest growers, processors, contractors, transport operators and service industries of the sector.

Full Member
A Full Member is any person having an interest or involvement in the forest industry in Marlborough.

Honorary Member
An individual, who has made an outstanding contribution to the forest industry in Marlborough or to the Association can be nominated to be an Honorary Member for life. No more than 5% of the membership may fill this category.

Membership subscriptions are set each year at the Annual General Meeting and for 2005/06 include a base fee of $50 per member plus 10 cents per hectare of production forest.
